Trekking in Langtang Region:
Langtang region is located in the north side of Capital city with border Tibet. Langtang National park can be seen and observed including natural and religious sides while we travelling to Langtang area. Langtang national park is the first national park in Nepal. Langtang region is the one of the best and wonderful choice for trekkers, nature lovers and for Adventures.
Langtang valley is one of the famous trekking, tourist destination of Nepal. It is the closest trekking destination from Kathmandu valley. one of the important features of this region is that Langtang valley combines (includes) different cultural villages, Tamang, Kshetri, Bahun, Gurung and many more. we can see holy lakes at Gosaikunda where a big festival held on the month of July or Amugust on the occasion of Janai Purnima, fullmoon. Helambu valley can be observed and seen during the trekking time of Langtang Region.
we can see different famous peaks like Langtang Himal (6581m), Langtang Lirung (7246m), Mt.Gangchhempo, Langtang Ri(7246m), Lakpa Dorje, Kimsung (6745m), GaneshHimal I (7406m), Ganesh II(7150m), Ganesh III (7130m), Yala Peak (5560m), Ganjala Chuli (5844m), Langshisa(Ri 6310m), Morimoto peak (6750m), Pongen Dopku (5930m), Tembthang (5702m), Salbachum (6707m), Manaslu (8163m) and many more are the names of different peaks and their height which we can see while we travel trekking in Langtang. During the spring time rhododendron blooms in the forest which we can see red forest with flowers of rhododendron.
Lovely hospitality with sweet and happy faces are provided by the local people for the trekkers which helps to reduce tiredness during the time of trekking. From Lauribinak views of sunrise and sunset can be seen which is considered as the important parts to make trekking time happy.
The trekking routes in Langtang region are Langtang trek (7days), Tamang heritage trek (6days), Goshainkunda Lake trek (5 days), Helambu valley trek (8days), Ganjala Trek (14days) and Tilmanpass trek (18days). There is proper facilities of Teahouse, hotels and lodges for the above trekking routes during the time of trekking.
we can observe life style of Tamang and Sherpa people. The people who live in this region believe that they are origin of Tibet. With religious faith devotes from Hindus and Buddhist visit this region. Yak farming and tourism are the main sources of income of the people who lived in this area.
